Foundations of Cultural Awareness
Formerly known as "Cultural Humility: An Introduction”
6 Cultural Awareness Ethics CEUs
This workshop is more than just a learning experience—it's a transformative space where meaningful growth happens. Together, we’ll explore the cultural and personal backgrounds that shape our outlook on life, delving into how these experiences influence our work as therapists. Through engaging discussions, we’ll tackle critical topics such as privilege, biases, intersectionality, and microaggressions. Our focus will be on the ethical responsibility to support clients from the perspective of who they are, not who we are. By examining our own beliefs and perspectives, we’ll enhance our self-awareness and empathy, ultimately becoming more effective and compassionate therapists.
